FAQ’s
How do I book a session?
To book a session, contact me directly here.
Do you photograph cats?
Yes! I photograph any type of animals!
How far do I need to book in advanace?
I will always suggest the sooner, the better. I typically schedule 3-6 months, and more, out.
What do I need to take with me to the session?
You can bring any props that you want! I have lots (I really mean lots) of props and
treats for the dogs. If you are bringing a cat or an exotic pet, please bring their favorite treats with you.
What if my dog doesn't know how to sit?
Don’t worry! I will work with your pet to make sure that s/he learns what I want.
My dog is high energy. Is that okay?
Of course! Just please make sure that you don’t exercise your dog too much prior to a session. It’s okay to take the dog for as hort walk, but we don’t want him/her to be exhausted upon arrival.
My dog has never had professional photos done before. I'm not sure how s/he will act.
Not to worry. I want every experience for your dog to be fun and happy. My goal is to make him/her comfortable and happy with me and within the studio.
Can I be in the photos with my dog?
YES! I really love it when the pet parents are in the photos with their animals.
Funny info: Most times, the dog will be photographed first. Once the pet parent steps in to get photos with the dog, the dog wants to know why on earth this human is in THEIR shoot! Almost every dog has done this.
I'm not sure if I should go with the Pupper or the Doggo. Which is better?
If your pet has never been photographed or needs a lot more reassurance, I always suggest your first sesion with me be the Doggo. After that, the Pupper usually works!
Remember: The Doggo session allows for more than one backdrop color. The Pupper only allows one.
I have no idea what color to choose!
I have lots of colors and I will work with you to determine what will work for you and your pet.
Do you photograph Hoomans?
I do! However…I am not your typical portrait photographer. I want the images to really speak and spark emotion. You become the canvas! You and I will come up with some ideas and we will just go for it!
Do you do boudoir?
Yes!
How many images do I get with each type of session?
Pets are live animals. It truly depends on how they react to everything.
Pupper – Typically, at least ten (10) images.
Barkday – Same with Pupper.
Doggo – Usually, at least twenty-five (25) or more.
Wolf – This varies as it is an outdoor session. Usually, at least twenty (20).
Do you hold mini sessions?
I do! However, they are limited.
